How To Use – Shoe odor eliminator | Foot Odour Spray

If you’re tired of dealing with smelly shoes, you may want to try using activated charcoal shoe deodorisers. These handy little bags can help absorb moisture and odours, leaving your shoes smelling fresh and clean. But how do you use them? Here’s a quick guide to using activated charcoal shoe deodorisers effectively.

What causes shoe odor?

Shoe odor is caused by bacteria that thrive in warm, moist environments. When your feet sweat, the moisture gets trapped in your shoes, creating the perfect breeding ground for these bacteria. Over time, the bacteria break down the sweat and produce a foul odor. Using shoe deodorisers can help absorb the moisture and prevent the growth of bacteria, keeping your shoes smelling fresh.

How do shoe deodorisers work?

Shoe deodorisers work by absorbing moisture and neutralizing odors. One popular type of shoe deodoriser is activated charcoal. Activated charcoal is a highly porous material that can absorb moisture and odors from the air. When placed inside your shoes, the charcoal works to absorb the moisture and neutralize the bacteria that cause odor. Some activated charcoal shoe deodorisers also contain additional ingredients like essential oils to provide a fresh scent.

How to use activated charcoal shoe deodorisers.

Using activated charcoal shoe deodorisers is easy. Simply remove the deodorisers from their packaging and place them inside your shoes. Make sure to position them in a way that allows them to come into contact with the entire interior of the shoe. Leave the deodorisers in your shoes overnight or for at least a few hours to allow straight after use, to absorb moisture and neutralize odors. For best results, replace the deodorisers every few months or as needed.

  1. Wear your footware as normal
  2. Straight after use place deodoriser in each shoe
  3. Leave deodoriser in each shoe overnight or at least for a few hours for the activated charcoal to absorb all moisture / odor.
  4. Repeat this process for 1 month
  5. Hang each deodoriser in direct sun to “recharge” evaporate the moisture / odor absorbed.
  6. Repeat steps 2-4 for up to 12 times(1 year) before thinking about replacing your deodorisers.
